Welcome to Satago Business Rescue Services. Our mission is to assist distressed and underperforming businesses to find solutions, to enhance their performances and to ultimately develop sustainable businesses.

Developing solutions for distressed businesses requires:

Satago’s independent business review (Phase 1) addresses these key elements by providing an independent view and analysis of the true state of the distressed business and the requirements for intervention.

The independent business review provides the framework for the turnaround strategy, which our multi-disciplined and experienced team then develops in consultation with the business. The turnaround strategy provides clarity on:

 • the problem(s),
 • the solution(s),
 • the correct strategy and
 • funding requirements

The Satago solutions are tailored for the dynamic set of circumstances of each individual business taking into account current economic trends, industry specific conditions and organisational factors. These solutions will be bespoke and may include the following elements:

 • corporate restructure including debt and equity arrangements,
 • corporate finance and fundraising,
 • rescue processes as set out in chapter six of the Companies Act, 2008,
 • divestitures,
 • take-overs and
 • mergers

As each business is unique, our mandates may also include:

 • providing turnkey project-management of pre-packed business rescue,
 • negotiating DIP and/or interim financing,
 • considering and advising on the viability of a 3rd party rescue,
 • opposing BR processes that lack merit,
 • advising creditors on voting rights and BR participation,
 • assist creditors with representation at statutory meetings,
 • negotiating sensible terms of ongoing supply and
 • acting for affected persons in any BR process
